I created a section under Technology, called Cool Tools. In it it added a link to http://www.seomoz.org/web2.0 which is a site that recognizes outstanding innovations in web technology. If you're searching for new ways to do things, this would be a good site to view.

I also posted a link to this section of the Discussion Forums, so that as people add new Cool Tools, they might post an entry here saying why it is a useful technology.

I have also begun to use facebook.com There is a wall section where I can post my thoughts.  I have used this space to encourage people to volunteer by checking out the TMC site.  I have also thought that a short video with testimony would be great for youtube.  Jim Carrey and other stars are starting to use this site as a medium for their message.  We can try that too.

I wrote an article for the http://cabriniblog.blogspot.com/2007/09/blog-post.html in which I provided links to some innovative ways that concept maps are being used by students to map their learning plan, and provide a portfolio of what they have learned.  CMAPs are a free on-line resources and can stimulate the interests of students and volunteers.

The following information can be useful to people doing on-line magazines, newsletters, posters, etc. I have not had time to research these myself, but hope you'll find them useful and add more. I've just added a link to a Common Good Forcaster that is an interactive web site where you can see how more education leads to many positive outcomes while less education has more negative impact. This is a part of the American Human Development Project
