Sunday, October 05, 2008 Thanks to everyone who attended Tutor/Mentor Conference, Friday, Nov. 21 at Chicago Field Museum By tutormentor2 @ 11:58 AM :: 1173 Views :: Events, Mentoring, T/MC, Tutoring, Volunteering   On Friday, Nov. 21, 2008  the 30th Tutor/Mentor Leadership and Networking Conference since May 1994 was held at the Chicago Field Museum.  Comments from one participant are posted on the T/MC Ning page. This conference intends to showcase the work being done by various tutoring and/or mentoring programs, share effective practices via networking and workshops, and draw greater public attention to tutor/mentor programs throughout the region.  One of our goals is to recruit athletes and celebrities who will draw attention to tutor/mentor programs in multiple locations. This blog post illustrates that concept.
